Born and raised in Brooklyn, Deon attended Brooklyn College and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Television and Radio. After graduating, he went to The Barrow Group Theatre Company in New York City to study acting under Seth Barrish and Lee Brock. He worked in restaurant and bars to pay for his studies.
Since completing the 1.5 Year Conservatory Program. Deon has kept himself busy performing at the NYFringe Festival, Manhattan Repertory Theatre and The Barrow Group Theatre Company where he was mentioned by name in both a Huffington Post and New York Times Review.
He's starred in a Lead and a Supporting role in his two most recent Short films directed by Independent Award winning Filmmaker K. Lorrel Manning. Both films premiered at the 2016 Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Most recently, Deon was cast as an Ensemble member in The Public Theater's production of JULIUS CAESAR directed by Oskar Eustis, which garnered national attention.
He recently signed with Red Letter Entertainment, to be managed by Cyrena Esposito.
